As Dixon Place's signature activity, Performance Works-In-Progress is one of their most successful ongoing programs. Presented several nights each month as schedule permits, this series focuses on new theatre, performance art, puppetry, dance, music and interdisciplinary collaborations from today's most innovative artists. The goal of the series is to feature a diversity of disciplines and perspectives, and to encourage artistic risk-taking in a supportive, intimate and professional environment.

A Loose Cat, written by Jennifer Skura and directed by Molly Marinik, is an absurd comedy about four strangers who find meaning after a sudden accident on a desolate, snowy highway. Never Odd or Even, written and performed by Sean Meehan and directed by Rich Geissler, is about a man who obsesses over the catching and killing of a mouse-until he reveals the truth behind the surface. The show starts at 7:30pm on October 5th, at the Dixon Place - 161A Christie St. (btwn. Rivington & Delancey) New York, NY 10002.

Tickets are $12 online, $15 at the door, and $10 for students/seniors. Visit www.dixonplace.org or call 212.219.0736 with any questions.
