Brace yourself and get ready to roar! Returning to the Lower East Side's famous Slipper Room, Flux Industries presents Phaedra's Cabaret: AWAKEN THE BEAST. Beguiling the senses with its unique mix of theatre, live music, dance, burlesque, aerial arts and comedy, Phaedra's Cabaret is about to make Monday night the wildest night of the week!

How will the BEAST be poked and provoked? Tressa Preston returns to the stage as the sultry and sassy compère of this untamed troupe. Ms. Minty Newport is steamier than ever while aerialists Diane Tomasi & Ava Kelly tell a tale of forbidden love as they defy gravity. Laura Lee Anderson's alter ego, "Timmy No Trousers," will sweeten the evening as the most seductive bee to ever take the Slipper Room stage and Laura Markis takes us to the ocean deep, where mermaids bewitch and lure sailors--as well as all spectators.

Musical director Jonathan Camuzeaux has partnered with songwriter and comedian Sophie Miller Chatfield (Winner of the People's Choice Award 2013 at the Short Sweet Cabaret Festival in Melbourne) to create an evening of original tunes. Five clever songs will premiere on April 6th 2015.
