2016 Cabaret Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, Robert Wetherbee, joins MAC Nominee, Patricia Fitzpatrick [ "Cougars on the Prowl" featuring Helena Grenot and the late Dana Lorge] in a- One Night Only- musical event "Love Trumps Hate " at The Metropolitan Room at 34 West 22nd Street, NY, NY.

Their debut performance at the Metropolitan Room promises to satirically lift back the curtain on some of our political candidates from JFK - Donald Trump. If the elections have got you down, take this last respite and learn, laugh and sing along to lyrics that describe our President's failings and glory. "Love Trumps Hate" is a romp through history - 'a modern man's' 'Hamilton.'

Fitzpatrick's strong suit is her quick, humorous patter. Wetherbee can sing and play the piano for hours without a piece of music in front of him. Their combined talents have taken them to Antigua, Provincetown, MA. Boston and NYC.

Wetherbee, is the Musical Director, performer and accompanist for this 'one off' musical review of some of our more interesting past Presidents.

Fitzpatrick, performer, comedian, wrote and directed the show with an eye for relieving the stress of this years' political campaign

"If we don't laugh, we'd have to cry. There is so much material to choose from it has been difficult to narrow in on those songs that best describe the Trump vs Clinton saga. Let's me just say, as "The Donald" might say "I am the best cabaret show writer, I write the best shows and this show will be HUGE. I have the stamina to do this show. All my friends know I have the stamina and the all the polls say so!"

Fitzpatrick's smooth, silky voice and her delivery of a lyric have made her a favorite at National and International jazz and cabaret clubs; Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club in London, and a variety of swinging clubs from Detroit, Chicago, Denver and the West Indies. She was a featured singer on WJR Radio at the Living Room at the Detroit Playboy Club, Detroit, Michigan.

Wetherbee performed for many years at the Saint Regis in NYC, The Hampshire House and Copley Plaza, Boston, Palm Beach Florida 'Society' events and for the last decade he has been the featured entertainer at the Crown & Anchor Inn, Central House, in Provincetown. He and Fitzpatrick have recently completed two seasons, at the prestigious Sugar Ridge Club, in Jolly Harbor, Antigua.

The show is $24.00, with a minimum requirement for food and drink. Tickets are available on the metropolitan website www.metropolitanroom.com under November events.
