"Lady and the Vamp" celebrates female musical theatre songwriters. This concert showcases today's female composers and lyricists, with the goal of visibility and gender equality in musical theatre. These ladies are "breaking the glissando ceiling" in an evening of wine, women, and song.

Writers will include Deborah Abramson, Marc Acito, Hali Alspach, Rick Bassett, Christina Capatides, Clare Cooper, Amy Engelhardt, Jessica Fleitman, Emily Goldman, Alan Gordon, Pamela Weiler Grayson, Christine Toy Johnson, Laura Kleinbaum, Rachel Kunstadt, Bryan Leys, Natalie Lovejoy, Janine McGuire, Rachel Peters, Nicky Phillips, Kamala Sankaram, Joy Son, and Amanda Yesnowitz.

Performers interpreting the songs will include Molly Hager (HEATHERS), Hannah Elless (GODSPELL), Synthia Link (HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS),Tiffan Borelli (TWO BY TWO), Christiana Cole (THE BARDY BUNCH), Sarah Corey, Richard Binder, Laura Daniel, Sally Eidman, Kathleen Fiorito, Mara Jill Herman, Erin Rubico, Amanda Savan, Arri Simon, and Angela Travino.

The concert will be held on Monday, May 4th at 7 pm at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. Tickets are $15 with a $20 food/drink minimum and can be purchased at https://web.ovationtix.com/trs/pr/944752.

Jenny Leon will direct, Charity Wicks will music direct, and Emily McNamara will host.
