Joe Iconis Headlines Art House Astoria Conservatory's POP ART! Fundraising Gala Tonight

Tonight, October 24, 2014, Art House Astoria Conservatory for Music and Art celebrates its 5th Anniversary during its annual Fundraising Gala in Astoria. Popular Astoria eatery Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee Company, will be presenting this year's gala, themed POP ART!, for the second year in a row.

Headlining the event in a cabaret performance will be Joe Iconis and Family. A writer and performer, Joe Iconis is a two-time Drama Desk Award nominee whose songs were featured on the second season of the NBC television show, Smash. Art House Astoria students will be featured as performers and as contributors to art pieces that will be sold in a live auction the night of the event. Food, raffles, and giveaways will round out the evening.

In addition to presenting the evening's event, Brooklyn Bagel will be supplying food and beverages. Additional sponsorship is provided by First Investor's Advisory Services, LLC.

General admission is $25.00 presale; admission at the door will be is $35.00. All proceeds will benefit Art House Astoria, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2009 with a mission to bring quality arts education to Astoria and Queens.
