With eight Broadway shows to her name, Carly Hughes has quickly established herself as a recognizable talent, both onstage and off. Carly most recently starred on Broadway as Velma Kelly in Chicago and as The Leading Player in Pippin. A recipient of the prestigious Princess Grace Awards, her other Broadway credits include Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, The Book of Mormon, Ghost, Ragtime, 25th Annual Putname County Spelling Bee and The Grinch. Carly is also featured in the upcoming movie adaptation of Ahrens & Flaherty's musical, Lucky Stiff.
On Friday night, 54 Below presented Carly Hughes' unique song styling's on Jazz, Pop and everything in between all performed with a whole lot of class and a little bit of sass! Featuring musical direction by Sonny Paladino (Associate Conductor of Pippin and Music Supervisor for Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 and Associate Conductor and Keyboard player for The Last Ship) and arrangements by Sonny Paladino and Joe Drymala(Sky's End, Street Lights, White Noise and Edenville).
54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, is the new performance venue in the grand tradition of New York City nightlife.
