DANIELLE GRABIANOWSKI returns for two more performances of her debut show, "Old, New, Borrowed and Blues," Wednesday, December 16 and Monday, December 21 at Don't Tell Mama. The show, which debuted at the Metropolitan Room earlier this month, features classics from the Great American Songbook ("Brother, Can You Spare a Dime, "Try A Little Tenderness"), new tunes from the likes of Regina Spektor, The Indigo Girls and Ray Lamontagne and, of course, the blues. The show is directed by award winning performer and director, Lennie Watts with Musical Direction by nightclub favorite Nate Buccieri.

For her work in the Metrostar Talent Challenge Danielle was called, "one of those performers who can remind a listener of many predecessors, yet instantly seems newly-minted and already defiantly resists being fitted into anyone else's mold" by The Huffington Post. She was praised for her "arresting quality" and "unique vocal that seemed part Edith Piaf and part Janis Joplin" by TalkinBroadway.com and her "captivating sound, a disarming manner" by NitelifeExchange.com who claimed, "Danielle is a mix of sassy, sly and sweet...delicious dynamite." Later this year, Danielle will alternate with Carole Bufford to open for Metrostar winner, Liz Lark Brown.

Danielle Grabianowski is the 2008 1930's Idol and most recently came in second in the Metropolitan Room's Metrostar Talent Challenge. In 2006 she appeared in "Hotter Than a Pregnant Cow: The Music of William Finn" at Rose's Turn and has performed with various theater companies around the country including the Georgia Shakespeare Festival, Bakerloo Theatre Project and Bigfork Summer Playhouse as well as in various readings and workshops of new musicals and plays in New York City. Her favorite stage roles include Thea in Fiorello, the Porter in Macbeth, Fiona in Brigadoon and Angelique in The Imaginary Invalid.

DANIELLE GRABIANOWSKI will appear at Don't Tell Mama (343 West 46th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues) on Wednesday, December 16 at 7:00PM and Monday, December 21 at 7:00PM. There is a $15.00 cover charge with $10.00 seats for MAC and AEA members both with a 2-drink minimum. For reservations call (212) 757-0788 or visit www.donttellmamanyc.com.
