Chrysten Peddie's solo cabaret show will return to the Metropolitan Room today, November 7 at 1 p.m.

After last year's BroadwayWorld Award- (for best Cabaret Debut) winning run of her solo cabaret debut, TOO DAMN TALL, Peddie has been invited back to do her second full-length solo cabaret at the Metropolitan Room. Voted "#1 Jazz Cabaret Club" by New York Magazine, the Metropolitan Room is a terrific performance space which has been called "a class act" and a perfect spot for a "sophisticated" night out by Zagat 2014.

Peddie's new show, titled IDOLS & ICONS, is a nostalgic hour-long tribute to some of the artists, movies, albums and songs that have meant so much to her over the years and have helped to shape her as a performer and a person. Featuring music from Dolly Parton, The Beatles, Linda Ronstadt, Jeff Buckley, Florence and the Machine, alongside some of Broadway's best, this show is a completely reverent look at her personal idols and icons and asks the question..."Why do I love them so?" She'll be covering a vast range of musical styles, from pop, rock and soul to jazz, folk and classic Broadway. Mixed in with some funny, sweet and embarrassing stories from her childhood up to now, this is going to be an hour of entertainment you won't want to miss!

Show dates are: November 7th and December 12th. Both shows at 1 p.m. You can make your reservations at metropolitanroom.com/event.cfm?id=214870&car. Reservations can also be made by calling the Metropolitan Room at (212) 206-0440.
