Cabaret Stars Jennifer Sheehan and KT Sullivan to Perform in New WNET Series 66TH & BROADWAY

New York City is a mecca for arts lovers and performing artists alike. Continuing its commitment to bringing arts programing to the New York metro area community, WNET has announced that it will debut the new local series 66th & Broadway. Scroll down for previews from the pilots!

Taped in front of an audience at the Tisch WNET Studios at Lincoln Center, premiering with two episodes on Thursdays, February 5 and 12 at 8 p.m. on WLIW21 and Fridays, February 20 and 27 at 10:30 p.m. on THIRTEEN, 66th & Broadway will launch with performances from two of today's most notable cabaret singers: rising star Jennifer Sheehan and award-winning songstress and artistic director of the Mabel Mercer Foundation KT Sullivan.

The series opens with Jennifer Sheehan's performance of time-honored classics from the great American Songbook. Sheehan, a graduate of The Juilliard School, is a critically acclaimed, multi-award winning vocalist. She has played for audiences at Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and 54 Below, and has headlined her own shows at Cafe Carlyle, Caramoor Music Festival, the Savannah Music Festival, The Royal Room in Palm Beach, and numerous other venues in New York, around the country and in the U.K. Sheehan also performs in concerts and in theater, most recently in the "Radio City Christmas Spectacular." Sheehan's performance for 66th & Broadway is an abridged version of her show "YOU MADE ME LOVE YOU - Celebrating 100 Years of the Great American Songbook."

KT Sullivan, the artistic director of the prestigious Mabel Mercer Foundation, and world renowned cabaret and Broadway performer brings her world-class cabaret style to the second episode of 66th & Broadway. Sullivan has starred annually at the Oak Room of New York's Algonquin Hotel and also at the Neue Galerie's Café Sabarsky on Fifth Avenue. She has appeared at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. with Brian Stokes Mitchell in "Broadway Today" and is a regular at London's newest cabaret Crazy Coqs. Sullivan has also headlined at Carnegie Hall, Town Hall and The Caramoor Festival. She has performed at The Spoleto Festival, The New York Historical Society, La Nouvelle Eve in Paris, The Chichester Festival in the U.K., The Adelaide Festival in Australia, and two tours of China with the Manhattan Symphonie.
