After a sold-out run last year at The Duplex, this unique cabaret act written and performed by Brett Lowell with his 84-year old father is returning to NYC at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Joining the creative team is director Michael Schiralli (Jackie Hoffman's A Chanukah Charol at New World Stages).

Noted psychiatrist Dr. Edward "Pappy" Lowell is the happiest man he knows. His son Brett is one of his closest friends. The two of them will join together to present an evening of songs and stories on the art and science of being happy-84 years of wisdom on living a life of joy, passed from father to son. It will feature a diverse range of music, including the songs of Kander and Ebb, Bruce Springsteen, Comden & Green, Alan Menkin, Jason Robert Brown, the Beatles, and more. Written by Brett Lowell & Edward Lowell, MD. Musical director Darius Frowner. Direction from Michael Schiralli. More information at CmonGetPappy.com.

Shows will be at THE Laurie Beechman THEATRE (407 W 42nd St, NYC) Saturday, February 23 at 7:30PM, Saturday, March 23 at 7:30PM, and Saturday, April 20 at 7:30PM. Tickets are $16 in advance online, or $20 at the door ($10 MAC/AEA). There is a $15 food/drink minimum.
