CastAndLoose Live! returns to present CastAndLoose Live: BanterGirl Saves The World on Wednesday, April 27th, 2016 at 7:00pm at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater, 425 Lafayette Street, NYC. Tickets are $20 in advance and $30 at the door, and are available here.

Cast And Loose Live! is based on the Tumblr page created and maintained by actress and writer Lynne Marie Rosenberg (High Maintenance); castandloose.tumblr.com is "your daily dose of show business misogyny, racism and general absurdity," with a collection of the worst casting notices the internet has to offer. In CastAndLoose Live!, stars of stage and screen dramatically bring to life some of the ridiculous and offensive breakdowns featured on the blog: a hilarious mix of stereotypes, pigeon-holing and requests for tasteful, non-union nudity.

This evening will specifically address the hot topic of gender identity in casting, with a portion of ticket sales going to BanterGirl (www.BanterGirl.com), an exciting and important all-woman Production Company. Come laugh at the problems while funding the solution!

Lynne Marie Rosenberg will perform with guest artists Marsha Stephanie Blake (Orange Is The New Black), Mashuq Mushtaq Deen (New Dramatists), international hip-hop sensation Jean Grae, Aparna Nancherla (Late Night With Seth Meyers), Shakina Nayfack (Difficult People), and Maysoon Zayid (Most Watched TED Talk of 2014). Special musical guest Amy Jo Jackson (54 Below) and interview with BanterGirl founder, Trish Nelson.
