SPIKE Spencer, an award winning voice actor, best known for his video game and animation work, will be THE VOICE of the 3rd Annual Geekie Awards, announcing the presenters for the awards ceremony from offstage. With his experience as a live presenter for numerous Fortune 500 companies, SPIKE Spencer will bring his unique, professional talent to Thursday night's event.

Aside from the Geekie Awards, it's been a big year for THE VOICE actor. His Nickelodeon series, "Get Blake," in which he plays Mitch, the lovable sidekick to the title character, debuted internationally. And, his voice talents will also be heard in the highly anticipated video game, Norse Noir. SPIKE was also nominated for the BTVA Award for Best Male Vocal Performance in a Video Game for his role as "Ringabel" in the Final Fantasy spinoff "Bravely Default."

"Being a big geek myself, I was honored when Kristen [Nedopak] asked me to be THE VOICE of the Geekies! Since us voice actors don't usually get to work with each other in the booth, events like these allow us to celebrate our geek-ness with all our fellow creatives: directors, producers, techs, developers and actors alike. We're going to let our geek flags fly!" declared Spike.

The Geekie Awards, an award show by geeks for geeks, is aimed at placing the geek culture in the spotlight as a collection of valid, respected, award-winning genres for storytelling and creation. Past recipients include Stan Lee, who received the very first Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013 (now called The Stan Lee Lifetime Achievement Award), and LeVar Burton, who received 'Geek of the Year' in 2014. This year, Kevin Smith will be the show's top recipient, and honored with the Geek Pioneer Award.
