SOMETHING ROTTEN's Brian d'Arcy James stopped by last night's LATE NIGHT, and recalled meeting Hillary Clinton backstage at the off-Broadway production of HAMILTON, and she eerily seemed to know everything about him! Later, 'The Spotlight' star talked about experiencing his first Hollywood awards season, and recalled how Melissa McCarthy and Mark Ruffalo had to help him wiht his tuxedo at the recent Golden Globe awards. Brian D'arcy James currently stars in Broadway's SOMETHING ROTTEN. His recent big screen projects include The Nest, The Spotlight and The Christmas Pearl. He has appeared on TV in Smash, The Good Wife, The Big C, Rescue Me and more.

The actor received Tony nominations for his roles in Something Rotten, Shrek The Musical and Sweet Smell of Success; he won the 2009 Drama Desk Award for Shrek. He has also appeared on Broadway in Macbeth, Time Stands Still, Next To Normal, The Apple Tree, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Titanic, Carousel and Blood Brothers.
