Terrell Owens Headed to Fox's BROOKLYN NINE-NINE

According to Entertainment Weekly, former NFL player Terrell Owens has filmed a guest spot on Fox's Golden Globe winning series BROOKLYN NINE-NINE.

Owens will play himelf in the episode, going up against "Sgt. Terry Jeffords (former NFL linebacker Terry Crews) and the Nine-Nine precinct in another cop-versus-fireman football game."

From Emmy Award-winning writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur ("Parks and Recreation"), and starring Emmy Award winners Andy Samberg ("Saturday Night Live") and Andre Braugher ("Men of a Certain Age," "Homicide: Life on the Street"), BROOKLYN NINE-NINE is a single-camera ensemble comedy about what happens when a talented-but-carefree detective and his diverse group of colleagues get a new captain with a lot to prove.

BROOKLYN NINE-NINE won this year's Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical, and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical(Samberg).

Sedgwick has been seen on Broadway in: Twelfth Night at Lincoln Theatre directed by Nicholas Hytner; Ah, Wilderness! directed by Jose Quintero. Off-Broadway: Craig Lucas' Stranger, David Mamet's Oleanna. Film: Born on the Fourth of July, Singles, Something to Talk About, Phenomenon, Personal Velocity, Second Hand Lions, The Woodsman, The Possession. She will next be seen in Oren Moverman's Time Out of Mind opposite Richard Gere. TV: "Miss Rose White," "Door to Door," and most notably "The Closer," for which she won a Golden Globe and Emmy. Executive Producer: "The Closer" and the upcoming "Proof" on TNT.
