The Monkees – Michael Nesmith, Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork plus band will be reuniting for 12 concert dates across the country between November 8 and December 2, it was announced via facebook by Monkees Tour and Michael Nesmith.

The tour dates are as follows: 

NOV 08 California Center for the Arts – Escondido CA
NOV 09 Arlington Theatre – Santa Barbara CA
NOV 10 Greek Theatre – Los Angeles CA
NOV 11 Flint Center for the Performing Arts – Cupertino CA
NOV 15 State Theatre – Minneapolis MN
NOV 16 The Chicago Theatre – Chicago IL
NOV 17 Lakewood Civic Auditorium – Cleveland OH
NOV 18 The Center for the Arts – Buffalo NY
NOV 29 Keswick Theatre – Philadelphia PA – TICKETS ON SALE Aug 10 NOON at Box Office
NOV 30 State Theatre Regional Arts Center – New Brunswick NJ
DEC 01 The Paramount – Huntington NY
DEC 02 The Beacon Theatre – New York NY

The television series The Monkees aired for 2 seasons from 1966–1968. The musical acting quartet was composed of Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith, and Peter Tork, and Davy Jones. The Monkees had a number of international hits including "The Monkees", "Last Train to Clarksville", "I'm a Believer", "(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone", "A Little Bit Me, a Little Bit You", "Pleasant Valley Sunday", and "Daydream Believer". In 1967, at the height of "Monkeemania", the Monkees sold more records than the Beatles and Rolling Stones combined. Their albums and singles have sold over 65 million copies worldwide.

Band member Davy Jones died of a heart attack on February 29, 2012. His bandmates will highlight his talents in the show's "multi-media content."
