Photo of Living Woman Erroneously Included in Oscar 'In Memoriam' Segment While the biggest error of last night's OSCAR broadcast was clearly the announcement of LA LA LAND as Best Picture, it was not the only blunder of the evening. During the moving 'In Memoriam' segment of the show, an image of living Australian producer Jan Chapman was mistakenly used to represent late costume designer Janet Patterson, a four-time Oscar nominee who passed away last October.

Chapman, whose credits include Bright Star and The Piano, is one of Australia's most prolific producers. Costume and production designer Patterson also worked on the above mentioned films. Her other credits include Peter Pan and Far From the Madding Crowd.

Sara Bareilles performed "Both Sides Now" for last night's "In Memoriam" segment, which paid tribute to such Hollywood A-listers as Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds, Gene Wilder and Prince. Watch the performance here.
