On the Tuesday, October 9th episode of PRIVATE PRACTICE titled "Good Grief," after hearing a patient's chilling confession, Violet turns to Sheldon for advice. Meanwhile, Addison tries to keep her grief a secret, Cooper and Charlotte adapt to their new reality and Sam confronts Sheldon about his denial. PRIVATE PRACTICE stars Kate Walsh as Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery, Benjamin Bratt as Dr. Jake Reilly, KaDee Strickland as Dr. Charlotte King, Paul Adelstein as Dr. Cooper Freedman, Brian Benben as Dr. ShelDon Wallace, Caterina Scorsone as Dr. Amelia Shepherd, and Griffin Gluck as Mason Warner, with Taye Diggs as Dr. Sam Bennett and Amy Brenneman as Dr. Violet Turner.

Guest starring Justina Machado as Stephanie Kemp, Marianne Jean-Baptiste as Gabi Rivera, Robert Pine as Jim Wallace, John Prosky as Jerry Murphy, Joshua Bitton as Adam Stanfield and Ava Gaudet as Stacey Meyer.
