ONE World Sports, America's Network for Global Sports, announced a partnership with millennial sports fan network Whistle Sports to live stream a slate of Ivy League football games during the 2016-2017 season on Whistle Sports Facebook pages.

"When seeking additional content partners to showcase our coverage of the prestigious Ivy League, it became abundantly apparent that Whistle Sports is the perfect partner to showcase these storied football rivalries across new platforms," said Todd Myers, Vice President Programming, Acquisitions & Development .ONE World Sports. " As our sports content continues to evolve to programming with more U.S. appeal as well as highlighting popular sports from around the globe, ONE World Sports will explore new avenues to drive viewership and increase engagement among sports fans. Whistle Sports was a clear choice, given the millions of new followers they add across their social network each week."

Starting on September 17 in New HAVEN with Colgate at Yale, the games will be available through the ONE World Sports telecast, as well as through a Whistle Sports Facebook Live stream. Bill Spaulding, the play-by-play broadcaster and storyteller for NBC Olympics, as well as Ken Dunek, former player for the Eagles and now analyst, will be the hosts for the matchup between the Raiders and the Bulldogs. Dunek will rotate analyst roles with long-time TV personality and former Yale Defensive Back Jack Ford throughout ONE World Sports' telecasts.

"Whistle Sports is excited to bring together ONE World Sports and its Ivy League rights with our Whistle Sports' community through Facebook Live," said Laura Fortner, EVP Business Development, Whistle Sports. "Fans want to enjoy, engage, connect with and comment on the games that they're watching. Viewing games via Facebook Live on our pages will let them do all of that all in one place this season."

Earlier this summer, Whistle Sports had success with the early rounds of the "TBT: The Basketball Tournament," which grew from a few thousand viewers watching on a website in 201 to over 3.5 million views on Whistle Sports Facebook pages in 2016.
