Nine New Voices Selected During Round 4 of LA VOZ KIDS

The search for new voices continued on last night's "La Voz Kids" episode, when Coaches Prince Royce, Roberto Tapia and Natalia Jimenez added nine new voices during the fourth round of "Blind Auditions." Participants from California, Texas, New York, Florida, Illinois, Puerto Rico, and even Africa, battled vigorously to impress the music Coaches. Thirty-four children are now part of the music competition, with only two more blind auditions shows to go before choosing the required 18 contestants per team. After that, the long-awaited "Battle Rounds" will lead to the final performance shows and the selection of the winner of season two of "La Voz Kids."

PRINCE ROYCE added three voices to #TeamRoyce, now with 12 members:

· ASHLEY ROMERO, 11 years old, from Los Angeles, California of Salvadorian descent, Ashley enjoys the Regional Mexican genre and loves to sing romantic songs. When Roberto Tapia and Prince Royce turned their chairs simultaneously, Tapia told her that both of them have "deep feelings," but Royce used his flirting tactics to convince her by saying, "I really need a girl like you for #TeamRoyce."

· JUAN MANUEL VELEZ, 8 years old, from Houston, Texas. This Mariachi singer competed with his older brother who was not lucky enough to be chosen by the Coaches. In one of the most emotional performances of the night, they both showed unconditional love for each other. Only Prince Royce turned his red chair in his pursuit of a Regional Mexican singer.

· DANIEL CASILLAS, 11 years old, from Chicago, Illinois. His father and great supporter gave him the stage name of "El Tordillo" (little horse). He likes to sing Regional Mexican songs. When the three Coaches turned their chairs, Natalia got down on her knees to plead him to join her team but Daniel picked Royce, who welcomed him as one more voice in support of his battle against El Tapia.

ROBERTO TAPIA took only two voices for #TeamTapia, now with 10 members:

· DIEGO REVILLA, 14 years old from Maputo, Mozambique, who is of Nicaraguan/Peruvian descent, sang a pop song in English. Having lived in Africa since he was nine, he travelled across the WORLD to show that music is a universal language. Royce and Natalia regretted not turning on time, while Tapia, the only one to press the button, bragged about his "wise" decision.

· LIZA MORALES, 13 years old, from Oakland, Florida; born and raised in New York of Dominican descent. She revealed she needs music "as the very air she breathes." Her music not only gives her family great joy, but has helped her father - her personal hero - come out of a deep depression caused by his experience during the 9/11 tragedy. After her emotional presentation, only Tapia turned his chair, giving her a warm welcome to #TeamTapia.

NATALIA JIMENEZ added four voices #TeamNatalia, now with 12 participants:

· GABRIEL ARREDONDO, 15 years old, from Aguada, Puerto Rico. He likes to sing pop music and wants to send a positive message to the youth with his music. He is inspired by the men in his family and said that uniting his family is what motivates him. The three Coaches turned during the last second of his presentation, getting the audience on their feet as Natalia said, "You have a great voice; I want your voice."

· JULYANNA FIMBRES, 13 years old, from Calexico, California. She is proud of her Mexican roots but loves to sing R&B. Her dream is to become a great artist. The three Coaches pressed the button describing her voice as bright, strong and versatile. She chose to go with Natalia, but first she asked the two male Coaches for a kiss and a hug.

· XIAREXIS GARCIA, 10 years old, from Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. She likes pop music and used to sing Christian songs in church. She considers her family the most important thing in her life. Tapia was the first to Turn his chair but she chose to go with Natalia, who loved the "color" of her voice.

· YAILENYS PEREZ, 13 years old, from Hialeah, Florida. Born in Cuba, this young Cuban girl said that the opportunity to be in the competition was already a great accomplishment. Her joy was evident when both Natalia and Tapia asked her to join their teams. She took a chance by singing one of Natalia's hit songs - a choice that kept her in the competition.

"La Voz Kids" will continue its "Blind Auditions" next Sunday, when another group of young voices will compete for their dreams to become "La Voz" (The Voice Kids).

"Suelta La Sopa Extra" (10pm/9c), The After show hosted by Jorge Bernal and Penelope Menchaca, featured renowned Bachata singer Henry Santos, who talked about his early stages in his music career. The show also introduced The Real Story of Yailenys Perez, the young contestant who joined #TeamNatalia last night and revealed her journey from her native Cuba to the United States. From season one of "La Voz Kids," Sean Oliu joined to unveil his first music production on iTunes and confessed how the music competition helped him grow as a young singer.
