Nicole Kidman, Hugh Grant, Lily Collins to Be Honored at the 20th Annual HOLLYWOOD FILM AWARDS

dick clark productions announced today that Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman will receive the "Hollywood Supporting Actress Award" for "Lion," Golden Globe-winning actor Hugh Grant will receive the "Hollywood Supporting Actor Award" for "Florence Foster Jenkins," BAFTA-nominated actress Naomie Harris will be recognized with the "Hollywood Breakout Actress Award" for "Collateral Beauty" and "Moonlight," and actress Lily Collins will receive the "New Hollywood Award" for "Rules Don't Apply" at the 20th Annual "Hollywood Film Awards Presented by Virginia Black."

The awards ceremony, celebrating its 20th anniversary as the official launch of the awards season, will be hosted by actor and comedian James Corden, and will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, on November 6, 2016. The HOLLYWOOD FILM AWARDS honors some of the most acclaimed films and actors, as well as artists in Cinematography, Visual Effects, Film Composing, Costume Design, Editing, Production Design, Sound and Makeup & Hairstyling. Its honorees over the past 20 years have included the world's biggest stars and more than 110 have gone on to garner Oscar nominations and/or wins.

"Hollywood Supporting Actress Award" winner Nicole Kidman will be honored for her work in the drama "Lion" by The Weinstein Company, out November 25th. The film tells the story of an Indian boy adopted by a couple from Australia, who returns to Calcutta 25 years later to find his lost family.

Hugh Grant, one of Britain's best known names, will receive the "Hollywood Supporting Actor Award" for his work in "Florence Foster Jenkins," directed by Stephen Frears, in which Grant stars alongside Meryl Streep. The film tells the story of an aging New York heiress whose dreams of fame have never faded despite her lack of talent. Grant shines as Streep's husband in this true story, period piece.

Naomie Harris receives the "Hollywood Breakout Actress Award" for her role in "Moonlight" which has caught the attention of critics and audiences alike. In "Moonlight, which is directed by Barry Jenkins, Harris has been gaining critical acclaim for her BREAKTHROUGH role as a struggling mother of a boy growing up in a rough neighborhood in Miami. This year, Harris also stars alongside Will Smith in "Collateral Beauty," a drama about an advertising executive's encounters with three mysterious visitors.

Collins will be recognized for her work in "Rules Don't Apply," the Warren Beatty directed romantic dramedy also starring Beatty, Alden Ehrenreich, Annette Bening and Matthew Broderick. Collins plays a small town beauty queen with a religious upbringing, who moves to Los Angeles to work for the infamous Howard Hughes and in doing so falls in love with his driver. The Regency Enterprises and 20th Century FOX film is expected in theaters November 23, 2016.

Academy Award winning actress Nicole Kidman first came to the attention of American audiences with her critically acclaimed performance in Phillip Noyce's riveting 1989 Australian psychological thriller "Dead Calm." Kidman has since become an internationally-recognized, award-winning actress known for her range and versatility. In 2002, Kidman was honored with her first Oscar nomination for her performance in Baz Luhrmann's innovative musical, "Moulin Rouge!" For that role, and her performance in writer/director Alejandro Amenabar's psychological thriller, "The Others," she received dual 2002 Golden Globe nominations, winning for Best Actress in a Musical. In 2003, Kidman won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a BAFTA Award and a Berlin Silver Bear for her portrayal of Virginia Woolf in Stephen Daldry's "The Hours." In 2010, Kidman starred opposite Aaron Eckhart in "Rabbit Hole," for which she received Academy Award, Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild and Independent Spirit Award nominations for Best Actress. The film was developed by Kidman's production company, Blossom Films. She was most recently seen in "The Family Fang" with Jason Bateman, which she also produced, and "Genius" alongside Colin Firth. Kidman's upcoming films include "The Weinstein Company's "Lion" with Dev Patel and "How to Talk to Girls at Parties."

London born, Naomie Harris is an actress whose career spans some of the highest grossing blockbuster franchises of all time, as well as powerful independent features. She had her first major BREAKTHROUGH in 2002 with Danny Boyle's cult classic "28 Days Later," and was nominated soon after for a BAFTA Orange Rising Star for her role as the voodoo witch Tia Dalma in the second and third "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies. Since then Ms. Harris has gone on to reinvent the iconic role of Miss Moneypenny in the James Bond epic "Skyfall," starring alongside Daniel Craig for director Sam Mendes, and reteaming with them for the next Bond smash hit, "Spectre." In 2013, she was nominated for an NAACP Image Award and two London Critics' Circle Film Awards for her powerful portrayal of Winnie Mandela in "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedon.". Ms. Harris can next be seen in the highly anticipated feature film from A24, "Moonlight." In the film, she plays a crack-addict wrestling with her demons and raising her son in the 1980s. Lily Collins is a rising star in Hollywood. She has already gained praise for her numerous roles in the industry and has become one of the most sought after young actresses in the business. Audiences can see Collins next in the highly anticipated film, "Rules Don't Apply," directed by Warren Beatty in which she stars as a young actress under contract for Howard Hughes during the Golden Age of Hollywood alongside Beatty and Alden Ahrenriech. It is scheduled to be released on November 23, 2016. Next, Collins will soon begin filming the Amazon/Sony Pictures Television drama series, "The Last Tycoon" opposite Matt Bomer.
