NBC's THE VOICE Grows Week-to-Week'; Is No. 1 Show of the Night on Big 4

NBC wins Monday among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and every other key measure, led by the #1 show of the night in adults 18-49 on those nets, THE VOICE. NBC ranked #1 or tied for #1 in 18-49 among the Big 4 for six of six half-hours. NBC has now won five Mondays in a row among those nets in 18-49.

"The Voice" (1.9/7 in 18-49, 9.1 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET): Wins the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49 and every other key demo. Is the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49.Grows +6% week to week in 18-49 (1.9 vs. 1.8) and +1% in total viewers (9.141 million vs. 9.075). Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD: last week's "The Voice" increased by +21% in 18-49 (from a 1.82 rating to a 2.21) and +1.4 million viewers overall (9.1 million to 10.5 million) going from "live plus same day" Nielsens to L+3. Upscale: Monday's "The Voice" is delivering a strong upscale audience this season, indexing at a 115 among adults 18-49 in $100K+ homes (with 100 representing an average concentration of those homes).

"The Wall" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET): Ties for the timeslot win among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49. Equals the highest rating for any ABC, CBS or NBC show in the timeslot, excluding sports, since March 13 (1.2 for NBC's "Taken"). With its first original telecast in 11 weeks, also ranks #1 or tied for #1 among those nets in women 18-49 and adults, men and women 18-34. Versus its most recent Monday 10 p.m. telecast, maintains 92% in 18-49 (1.1 vs. 1.2 on Jan. 2) and grows +6% in total viewers (4.821 million vs. 4.534 million). Despite the 10 p.m. hour, maintains its rating half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49 (1.1 vs. 1.1). Will increase via time-shifting and VOD -- so far this season, "The Wall" has increased by +12% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 1.516 to a 1.69) and +578,000 viewers overall (6.1 million to 6.7 million). Upscale: "The Wall" is delivering a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 114 among adults 18-49 in $100K+ homes


In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.0/5; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.3/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.6/4; "Late Show," 0.4/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
