NBC's THE BLACKLIST Equals Best Rating Since Season Premiere

NBC has taken the primetime ratings week of Nov. 9-15 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and all other key demographics, paced by the #1 show of the week in 18-49, "Sunday Night Football," and three top 10 ratings from "The Voice."

NBC has now won seven of the season's first eight weeks in 18-49 and finished #1 or tied for #1 for 18 of the last 19 weeks, trailing over that span only FOX the week it aired five WORLD SERIES games.

NBC's "Sunday Night Football" ranked #1 for the week of Nov. 9-15 among primetime shows on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49, total viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-34, all key adult-male demos, teens 12-17 and kids 2-11. Also finishing in the week's top 10 were telecasts of "The Voice" on Monday (#5), Tuesday (tied for #6) and Wednesday (#8, rankings exclude sports pre- and post-game shows).

Joining Sunday's Cardinals-Seahawks NFL game and the three "Voice" telecasts among the week's Top 20 primetime shows on the Big 4 were Monday's "Blindspot" (tied for #10), Tuesday's "Chicago Fire" (tied for #15) and Wednesday's "Law & Order: SVU" (tied for #15).

According to "live plus same day" viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research, NBC averaged a 2.3 rating, 8 share in adults 18-49 and 8.3 million viewers overall for the week. It's NBC's most-watched week since Oct. 12-18 (8.4 million).

Through the opening eight weeks of the 2015-16 season, NBC ranks #1 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and every other key demographic (including a tie for #1 in women 18-34) and is #2 in total viewers.

NBC is running within a tenth of a rating point of its year-ago season average in adults 18-49 (2.8 vs. 2.9, "most current"), is virtually matching its year-ago total viewership (9.698 million vs. 9.742 million) and is up versus last season in men 18-49 (2.8 vs. 2.7) and men 25-54 (3.4 vs. 3.3).

Primetime averages for the week of Nov. 9-15 in adults 18-49 are: NBC, 2.3/8; CBS, 2.0/6; ABC, 1.6/5; Fox, 1.2/4; and CW, 0.6/2. In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: CBS, 10.2 million; NBC, 8.3 million; ABC, 6.2 million; Fox, 3.6 million; and CW, 1.5 million.

"Most current" averages for the season to date are: NBC, 2.8/9; CBS, 2.5/8; ABC, 2.2/7; Fox, 2.1/7; and CW, 0.7/2. In overall total viewers, the season averages are: CBS, 11.9 million; NBC, 9.7 million; ABC, 8.0 million; Fox, 6.5 million; and CW, 1.9 million.
