NBC Universo's THE RIVERAS Returns with 10 New Episodes Beginning 2/26

NBC UNIVERSO, the modern entertainment and sports cable channel for Latinos and the fastest growing cable network, announced today the mid-season premiere of its hit celeb-reality, THE RIVERAS returning with ten new episodes beginning Sunday, February 26th at 10pm/9C. Last year, viewers witnessed the strength and the strong family bond of the Rivera siblings as they left their mother's nest to set out on their own journeys. On this new cycle, cameras follow Jenni Rivera's children - Chiquis, Jacqie, Mikey, Jenicka and Johnny as they evolve in the public eye. The mid-season premiere gives viewers access to all the glitz and glam as the Riveras walk the purple carpet at Telemundo's Latin AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS in Hollywood. Music fans will also get to meet Cuban reggaeton singer Osmani Garcia backstage during rehearsals, and accompany Chiquis and Jenicka while they visit their friend Becky G at her hotel room. Boss Bee Nation followers will experience the making of Chiquis' new album and see her get out of her comfort zone when she literally steps in her mother's shoes for the audition of her life. Chiquis will shut down tabloid rumors as she jumps back into the dating world in a big way, and discovers love. Jacqie, the proud mother of three children overcomes her fears, and embraces her dream of recording her first gospel single. Nonetheless, controversy arises as the kids are visited by their mother's haunting performance on a traditional Dia de Los Muertos celebration. Also, fans will get to go on a girl's getaway to New York that redefines where they are all going in life.
