NBC Sports Group's 2016 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament Continues This Week

NBC Sports Group's coverage of the 2016 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying soccer tournament continues this week, highlighted by the U.S. Women's National Team in the semifinal round, live this Friday, Feb. 19, at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. With a win on Friday, the USWNT will qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics.

The U.S. Women's National Team secured a place in the semifinal round with a 1-0 win against Mexico on Saturday, with captain Carli Lloyd netting the rebound of her penalty kick in the 80th minute for the game's lone goal. The team went on to defeat Puerto Rico 10-0 yesterday, featuring a national team record-tying five goals from Crystal Dunn. The USWNT will face the Group B runner-up, either Trinidad & Tobago or Guyana, on Friday, while Costa Rica, the Group A runner-up, will have their chance to qualify for Rio against the Group B winner, Canada, Friday at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Live Extra.

Coverage continues this evening with the final Group B matches of the tournament, as Trinidad & Tobago face Guyana at 6 p.m. ET and Canada face Guatemala at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Live Extra. NBCSN presents coverage of the final match this Sunday, Feb. 21, at 10 p.m. ET.

The USWNT has qualified for every Olympics, and has won each of the past three Olympic gold medals and CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying tournaments. Brazil, Colombia, France, Germany, South Africa, Zimbabwe and New Zealand have already qualified for the Rio Games.

Match coverage will hosted by a combination of Philadelphia Union's lead play-by-play announcer JP Dellacamera, CSN Mid Atlantic's Sebastian Salazar, and analysts and former USWNT members Kate Markgraf and Danielle Slaton.
