NBC has announced they've pocketed the rights to Sally Koslow's latest hit novel SLOUCHING TOWARDS ADULTHOOD, and are set to bring the literary work to television, The Hollywood Reporter uncovered this evening.

The comedy, put forth by 20th Television and 3 Arts, explores the modern, blended family where adults are still living at home, 'slouching' away from childhood.

Kat Coiro (LIFE HAPPENS) is slated to write the script and executive produce with Oly Obst, David Miner (lead producer behind 30 ROCK, PARKS AND RECREATION) and Christy Fletcher.

Koslow, a former magazine editor, has written three novels, including her latest, SLOUCHING TOWARD ADULTHOOD: OBSERVATIONS FROM THE NOT-SO-EMPTY NEST, LITTLE PINK SLIPS, and THE LATE, LAMENTED MOLLY MARX.
