From 7pm on Saturday April 9 at My Friend Louis, 137 Magill Road, Stepney, South Australia there will be an art auction, with cocktails, to raise money for charity.

About #nofilter:

With a rich combination of theatre, dance, film, and live music, #nofilter explores issues of suicide, self-harm, bulimia, dissociative identity disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, addiction and abuse in a work that has been described as challenging, confronting, thought-provoking, and revealing.

The work is premised on normalizing the discussion around mental illness and reflects a broader focus on addressing mental health issues, particularly around gender and sexuality.

#nofilter had its world premiere at the 2016 Adelaide Fringe Festival and was an acclaimed, sold out success.'

To coincide with the Adelaide Fringe Festival season production, #nofilter's art exhibition; The Asylum Room, exhibits the works of South Australian artists and the broader community. The donated works by people whom identify with mental illness in its many and varied forms, either personally or indirectly. These artworks are to be auctioned with proceeds being donated to the mental health charity of the purchasers' choice.
From 7pm on Saturday, April 9.

Location: My Friend Louis. 137 Magill Road, Stepney. (10 minutes east of the Adelaide CBD).

#nofilter will be performing extra shows across Adelaide over coming weeks after receiving an invitation to be showcased in Avignon, France.
