Julianne Moore Joins Greta Gerwig in MAGGIE'S PLAN

Deadline reports that Julianne Moore has signed on for Rebecca Miller's upcoming rom-com MAGGIE'S PLAN.

Moore will join Greta Gerwig, who will star as a young woman trying to start out in New York City.

Miller is set to direct her script, based on a story by Karen Rinaldi. Miller's other credits include The Ballad of Jack and Rose and The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, in which Moore starred.

Rachael Horovitz (Moneyball) is producing alongside Damon Cardasis and Miller for Round Films. Filming for MAGGIE'S PLAN will begin this fall.

Moore will next appear in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Seventh Son, Non-Stop, Maps to the Stars and Still Alice. Other recent movie credits include Carrie, The English Teacher, Don Jon, Crazy, Stupid, Love., The Kids Are All Right, A Single Man and more. She has also appeared on TV in 30 Rock and As the World Turns.

She appeared on Broadway in 2006's The Vertical Hour, and has also graced the stage in off-Broadway's Ice Cream with Hot Fudge and Serious Money.
