According to Deadline.com, Broadway veteran Jason Patric is set to star in FX's new pilot, 'Powers.' The series is based on a graphic novel by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, and will be directed by Michael Dinner. Filming will begin in Chicago later this summer.

In 2005, Patric appeared on Broadway as "Brick" in a revival of Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, which also starred Ashley Judd, Ned Beatty and Margo Martindale. He next appeared on Broadway opposite Brian Cox, Chris Noth, Kiefer Sutherland and Jim Gaffigan in That Championship Season which opened in March 2011. He is perhaps best-known for his roles in the films The Lost Boys, Sleepers, Your Friends & Neighbors, Narc, The Losers and Speed 2: Cruise Control.
