"I'm on Twitter," sings Host David Pogue in his WESTSIDE STORY tribute to Social Media. The celebrated personal technology guru and columnist for Yahoo Tech, CBS News Sunday Morning, Scientific American and formerly The New York Times, Pogue sings about Twitter at "the 67th Annual Technology & Engineering Emmy® Awards" honors companies and individuals for innovation in the television industry. Companies being honored include Netflix, HBO, DirecTV, TBS and others. Watch the performance below:

On Jan 8th, 2016, The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) presented the 67th Annual Technology & Engineering Emmy® Awards at The Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, marking the tenth consecutive year that the Technology and Engineering Emmy Awards have been presented during CES.

"One of the reasons for the exciting growth of our industry can be attributed to what these talented and innovative companies have achieved," said Bob Mauro, President, NATAS. "Their unrelenting passion in pushing the boundaries of what television can be, continues to surprise and inspire us and we salute their efforts with this well-deserved recognition."

"The National Academy's Technology and Engineering Achievement Committee was pleased to honor technology companies and individuals whose innovation and vision have materially affected the way the audience views television and have set the standard for technological excellence in the industry," said committee Chairman, Robert P. Seidel, Vice President of CBS Engineering and Advanced Technology and Chairman, Engineering Achievement Committee, NATAS.

One of this years highlights, was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Charles "Chuck" Pagano, former Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of ESPN

"Chuck Pagano has guided ESPN to become not only the leader in Sports television technology, but a leader and innovator in television technology across the industry," said Bob Mauro, President, NATAS.

"The National Academy is pleased to honor technology innovator Charles 'Chuck' Pagano for his leadership in ESPN's conversion to high definition, his key role in the development of the Virtual Playback Application for ESPN and for his continual embrace of new technologies to improve ESPN's fan experience," said Robert P Seidel, Chairman, National Engineering Achievement Committee.

"The National Academy congratulates Charles 'Chuck' Pagano on his Lifetime Achievement Award," said Seth Haberman, Co-Chair, NATAS Engineering Achievement Committee. "Under Chuck's leadership, ESPN has consistently been a leader in the development and implementation of new technologies including 1080P studio production."
