For the past year Haylie Duff has juggled being a new mom with an acting career and keeping up her successful food blog, The Real Girl's Kitchen. Now, her busy schedule is bringing her across the country to Austin, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York, and Santa Barbara but Haylie does not believe in a trip that is all work and no play. In each new city, she makes time for food-filled adventures and reconnecting with friends and family. Come along on the eight half-hour episodes of HAYLIE'S AMERICA, beginning on Thursday, September 8th at 10pm ET/ 7pm PT on Cooking Channel, as Haylie explores trendy new hot spots, old-school mainstays, and everything tasty in between. The fun and adventure are non-stop, with each place she visits more delicious than the last!
"Haylie invited audiences into her daily life of culinary exploration on The Real Girl's Kitchen. Now in primetime, viewers will join Haylie as she continues her deliciously entertaining food adventures in new cities with good friends and familiar faces on Haylie's America," said Didi O'Hearn, Senior Vice President Programming, Food Network & Cooking Channel. "I'm thrilled to be hitting the road on Haylie's America, visiting some of my favorite foodie destinations while discovering new ones," said Haylie Duff. "We've had so much fun creating this series and I can't wait for viewers to join us as we uncover amazing recipes and get into some trouble along the way!" When Haylie hits the road for work there is always so much to do, but her sense of food adventure takes over during her downtime, meeting up with friends to enjoy all each city has to offer. Unique gourmet ice cream in Denver with Beverly Mitchell, poke burritos with actress Alanna Masterson in Los Angeles, and a pre-concert "Coffee Talk" with Trisha Yearwood in Las Vegas, are just some of the culinary highlights that make the trip even more memorable. As her road trip continues so does the delicious food and fun along the way, including a Texas-sized homecoming dripping in queso in Austin, an oyster excursion in New Orleans, and a farm-to-table fresh meal of Cowboy Burgers in Denver.Image courtesy of Cooking Channel
