Controversial Film Puts Unique Spin on Bullying; LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED Set for Denver Premiere 11/1

Set in a world where the norm is to be homosexual and heterosexuality is taboo, a FORBIDDEN love affair takes a dramatic turn in the new controversial film scheduled to debut in Denver on November, 1st.

LGBTQ+ activist and film director Kim Rocco Shields hopes to change the culture of intolerance by immersing her audience in a provocative debut film where love is considered a sin. Her film "Love is All You Need?" exists in an inverted society in which homosexual couples are the majority, and heterosexuals, or "ros," fall victim to the VICIOUS hate crimes gay youth suffer today.

A "what if" style think-piece, Love is All You Need? sparked a nationwide movement focused on bullying and LGBTQ issues that affect children and adults, straight and gay alike. Based on the critically-acclaimed short of the same name and is inspired by real-world instances of bullying. The short film became a worldwide viral sensation garnering tens of millions of online views and was subsequently self-translated into over a dozen languages by fans of the movie.

The film's message of knocking down prejudicial walls has been praised by parents and children alike, receiving pushback from educators and conservative groups. The film received massive national media coverage on multiple occasions after school TEACHERS in rural areas were asked to resign for showing it to students. The controversy surrounding the short, and her passion for human rights, contributed to director Kim Rocco Shields creation of the feature length film.

Love Is All You Need? will debut in Denver for a single showing on November 1st at the House for Sinners and Saints at 7 PM. Tickets are available for the showing online and will be available at the door. Advance tickets for this showing are encouraged.
