60 MINUTES drew 15.4 million viewers to finish the week as the # 3 broadcast in America, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Jan 3. It was fourth time this season that the CBS News magazine finished in the top five and its fifth straight time among Nielsen's top 10 weekly broadcasts. 60 MINUTES also made that list in the key demos.

America's #1 news program scored a 2.8/08 in adults 18-49 and a 4.0/09 in adults 25-54 to rank #5 in those metrics. 60 MINUTES also finished at #5 for the week in households, scoring a 9.2/14.

60 MINUTES was Sunday's most-watched primetime non-sports program.

Sunday's edition of 60 MINUTES featured Scott Pelley's story on the worst U.S. maritime disaster in 35 years, Bill Whitaker's report on how the Mafia's tentacles have reached into Italy's olive oil and other food businesses, and a profile a 12-year-old jazz prodigy Joey Alexander by Anderson Cooper.
