CBS's 60 MINUTES Wins Most News Emmy Awards for Single Program

For the second straight year, CBS News won more Emmys than any of its network news rivals and more than any cable outlet, earning nine statuettes at the 36th Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards last night.

Once again, 60 MINUTES earned the highest number for a single program, winning six this year. The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY received two awards, while 48 HOURS took one.
