Due to election coverage last night, there wasn't a whole lot of great stuff on TV, however, we are more than making up for it tonight. Wednesday's "But, Wait! What's On TV Tonight?" picks include a couple heartthrobs guest starring on some of our favorite shows, one of the most performance-packed awards shows of the year, and the premiere of a miniseries that is sure to have people talking. So, what will you be watching tonight?

BWW TV World will bring you a handful of picks from across the TV landscape. So, if you have nothing to do each night, check in with us, and we will tell you the best ways to spend your primetime hours.

For all of the latest goings on in the world of pop culture, check out BUT, WAIT! WHAT? from Chief TV Critic Matt Tamanini here.

ARROW | 8:00-9:00pm | The CW
By: Matt Tamanini | @BWWMatt

As if having Grant Gustin star as THE FLASH wasn't enough, GLEE continues to invade The CW's comic book programming as Nolan Funk guest stars on ARROW tonight. Also, Felicity's mother drops by unexpectedly as the gang battles a cyber-attack that cripples Starling City. I am hoping for a big group musical number.

Country Music Association Awards | 8:00-11:00pm | ABC
By: Matt Tamanini | @BWWMatt

Yee-haw! After being a major part of last week's NASHVILLE, the actual CMAs will preempt the country music soap this week. Country superstars Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will host for the seventh year in a row, promising GREAT PERFORMANCES and funny bits; if only she had shown this much personality in THE SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE! Ariana Grande will be performing with Little Big Town and Meghan Trainor will team up with Miranda Lambert; those should both be interesting! We will also see performances from Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Kacey Musgraves, and the Band Perry.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAKSHOW | 10:00-11:00pm | FX
By: Matt Tamanini | @BWWMatt

Between MAGIC MIKE XL, THE NORMAL HEART, and now AMERICAN HORROR STORY, Matt Bomer is quickly becoming a favorite TV star of theatre fans. Tonight he joins the cast of Ryan Murphy's scary thrill ride as Andy. Though his storyline is still fairly mysterious, we do know that he ends up in a certain dungeon on wheels. After Twisty's demise last week, I am interested to see how Andy fits into Dandy's evil deeds.

THE GAME | 10:00-11:15pm | BBC America
By: Matt Tamanini | @BWWMatt

THE AMERICANS on FX is one of my favorite shows on television, so tonight's debut of THE GAME on BBC America is very interesting to me. In 1972 a KGB agent attempts to defect to the UK by revealing a plot to a MI6 agent. The miniseries stars Brian Cox, Tom Hughes, and Toby Whithouse.
