Breaking Glass Closes Ventana Sur Discovery WE ARE THREE, From SOLO Director Marcelo Brien Stamm

Breaking Glass Pictures has acquired North American rights to the award-winning romantic drama WE ARE THREE, the second feature from Argentinian writer/director Marcelo Briem Stamm ("Solo", Sexual Tension). Breaking Glass acquired rights to the film in December in a deal negotiated between Breaking Glass CEO Rich Wolff and Ida Martins of Media Luna New Films. The film will arrive to North American audiences in January 2019.

We Are Three held its world premiere at Rozen Filmdagen, its North American premiere at Outshine Miami, and went on to play numerous other festivals, including the Santo Domingo Film Festival, the Gender Bender Film Festival, and the Seattle Latino Film Festival.

"As writer and director, I am interested in creating stories that have lead characters who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, or trans", said Stamm. "I believe that we all feel the same way as straight people. It is just about who we fall in love with. I know that once you watch We Are Three, you will love Ana, Sebastian, and Nacho, and become immersed in their particular love story."

We Are Three begins with Nacho, Ana, and Sebastian, who happen to meet at a birthday party. Ana and Nacho seems to be attracted to each other, and the sexy bartender Sebastian decides to seduce both at the same time that night. After a failed first night together, Sebastian invites Ana and Nacho to a chill weekend far from the city. Nacho and Ana accept, thinking that it will be a fun and experimental weekend, but once they are away the big city, Sebastian confess his real interests: he wants to start a long-term relationship with both a man and a woman at the same time.
