BWW Recap: I'll Never Let Go, Jack on FEAR THE WALKING DEAD

We are down to the last few episodes of Season Two (Part A?) of FEAR. With the capture of Travis and Alicia last week, we have learned that even on the water, Travis, Madison and crew are being hunted and the Abigail is definitely a target.

Connor is making nice with Alicia even if Vita still isn't. Jack puts her to work and her job is to basically do what he did which is make contact with boats and get information on them to see if they're a prime candidate for attack. In doing her research, Alicia sees the Abigail headed back toward them. If they had gone to Mexico to drop off her family as promised, there is no way, Reid and the two henchmen would be back so soon. Jack informs her that Reid is a bit of a psycho and she should maybe prepare for the fact that he is her family now.

Travis locked up in a cage is paid a visit, by none other than Alex. The last time he saw her, he had made the decision to not let her on the boat which led to Strand cutting them off to float to their deaths. Alex's passenger Jake had wound up begging her for mercy and Alex killed him. Connor rescued Alex and she was the one who fed him all the information about the Abigail and she wanted Travis to be captured for revenge. When Alicia and Travis are finally able to talk, they inform each other of what they know to be happening.

Back on the Abigail, Reid is trying desperately to threaten Salazar and Chris and failing. Salazar knows he is just scared and isn't worried. Chris, however, feels guilty for not shooting Connor when he had the chance and lets his rage grow while listening to Reid talk about what he will do to all of them. Strand and Salazar are able to locate Connor's boat which is on top of a dock in a marina. Thinking that this is Reid and henchmen returning, they make the call and invite him back on board. Madison returns their call and threatens that they will see Reid again only when they return Travis and Alicia to them. Connor accepts the deal, however, Chris decides to shoot and kill Reid. Now, they have nothing to exchange. As Reid "Changes," Salazar decides to not "kill him" and put a bag over his head. They can trade Walker Reid in exchange for Travis and Alicia. Nick offers to go, but Mama Madison scolds him for being a little too comfortable in all these dangerous situations and insists on going herself.

Alicia, not knowing of the deal, decides to make a break for it on her own. Unable to locate Alicia, Connor and two men take Travis down to the dock. They make the exchange and walker Reid kills Connor and one of the men as Travis is able to subdue the other man. At the top of the boat, Alicia sees that her family has arrived. Jack confronts her about staying with him, but ultimately, she has to go back to her family. She jumps off the boat and swims toward Travis and Madison as they go back to the Abigail.

Luis is still super paranoid that they're not going to get into Mexico. Are there still border patrol at this point? I feel like his argument is moot. Strand finally admitted that it isn't exactly easy to overpower Madison as her love for her family makes her nearly invincible. I did really enjoy Strand telling Madison how strong Nick was which he saw within minutes of meeting him when he was at his weakest.

And the fan theory came true about Alex being a cohort of Connor's and seeking vengeance on the Abigail. I am glad to see her again. Is this the last we'll see of Jack? His boat is lacking an administration at the moment. Is Alex now in charge? Will he go after Alicia?

So the gang is back together again and now heading to Baja. Will we finally see what Luis is so damn paranoid about? Only two eps to go as we cross into international water.
