This Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 8:00 pm, Shari Berman (director of "SUGAR!") and Tony Award winner, Alice Ripley (starring as Leslie), will be interviewed on Salon Radio (International Women Artists' Salon) via http://www.cityworldradio.com/ . Listeners just need to click the microphone icon on that webpage to listen. A recording will also be posted on the site for future listening. Shari and Alice will be talking about the film, playing music written for the film by Graham Russell, and more.

Official description for the film: "SUGAR! follows the housewife (Ripley) of a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate played by Robert Clohessy (Oz; Blue Bloods; The Wolf of Wall Street), who secretly forms an all-women rock band, a decision that redefines what it means to follow your dreams at any age."

"SUGAR!" will have its world premiere on Wednesday, July 20 at 7:45 pm at the Long Island International Film Expo. Tickets are available at http://longislandfilmexpo.com/event/sugar . Select the ticket that says "Adult - Day 8 Block 3 @ 7:45 pm." The event is easily accessible via the Long Island Railroad to Bellmore, NY.
