A sorrowful cry went up last night as viewers watched THE BACHELOR's Sean Lowe say good-bye to Desiree, considered by many to be this season's clear frontrunner to receive a marriage proposal. In an interview with TVGuide, 'Bachelor' host CHRIS HARRISON revealed that the 29-year-old Texan may indeed have made one of the biggest mistakes of his life. "I'm pretty sure he let go of the love of his life," Harrison maintained.

On last night's episode, Lowe visited the homes of the four remaining women. During his time with Des, The Bachelor had a tough time listening to her brother's negative comments, including the accusation that he was nothing more than a 'playboy.'

Harrison believes that the tough talk from Des's sibling may have been the reason behind her elimination from the show. "I think it was the brother," the host confirmed. "Sean is really particular about being able to see himself as a part of the family. What you didn't see is the first conversation they had went great! Then her brother came back, did a 180 and went crazy. I heard about it later and asked if the producers did something and they said, 'No, we have no idea what the hell happened.' It made no sense."

Harrison went on to ponder whether Sean will regret his decision to say farewell to his possible soulmate. "I know she was head over heels in love with the guy," he shared. "When Desiree was leaving, it reminded me of Aaron Buerge saying goodbye to Gwen. It's like, 'What are you doing? This is wrong; you shouldn't be breaking up.' It didn't feel right."
