Ariana Grande Set To Perform On Premiere Of SNL 40th Season

Broadway player and rising star recording artist Ariana Grande is set to perform on the 40th season premiere of late-night variety staple SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE according to a new report.

Grande is expected to take the stage with fellow current chart-topper Iggy Izalea to perform their #1 hit "Problem" on the telecast.

SNL premieres on September 27 on NBC.

Of note, Grande's new album MY EVERYTHING boasts the current hit duet "Problem", featuring Iggy Azalea, along with new singles "Break Free" and JESSIE J/Nicki Minaj trio "Bang Bang", as well.

MY EVERYTHING was released on August 25.

In 2007, Grande appeared in the original Broadway production of Jason Robert Brown's 13 in the role of Charlotte, as well as starred along with Neil Patrick Harris, among others, in the Los Angeles stage spectacle A SNOW WHITE CHRISTMAS in 2012. Subsequently, Grande collaborated with pop star Mika on a cover of "Popular" from WICKED titled "Popular Song".
