Tony Award nominated actress Christina Applegate, who starred in SWEET CHARITY, is set to star in a currently untitled comedy pilot for NBC. The show will be an irreverent look at parenthood from the viewpoint of a career woman who never thought she'd be a mother.

Boris Kodjoe, who starred as Brick in the Broadway revival of CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF has joined the ensemble cast of ABC's upcoming political drama, "Georgetown."

Also cast in a pilot is Tom Everett Scott from the Broadway production of THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED. Scott will play the male lead opposite Jenna Elfman in ABC's comedy "Bad Mom." The show centers on Julia (Elfman), a woman whose two kids have been raised largely by their grandmother (to be played by Frances Conroy), but when the older woman decides she wants her life back, Julia finds herself raising the kids on her own. Scott will play Julia's husband, who is often forced to work overtime by his demanding new boss.

Stage vets Kevin Rahm and Chad Coleman have joined the FOX pilot "I Hate My Teenage Daughter," which is set to star Katie Finneran.
