On Sunday, June 12, The Country Network (TCN) wrapped its first taping in NASHVILLE since the network's relaunch under new ownership a couple of months ago.

Timed in conjunction with Nashville's biggest Country music party (CMAFest 2016), the television network captured nearly 50 artists over the course of 78 hours, yielding over 45 hours of footage, which editors will compile for use in the original series, "Our Land: The Music Highway," feature vignettes, and a Nashville-based series that will be announced in the upcoming weeks.

The production marathon kicked off in front of fans at a party sponsored by Bacardi Rum at the Whiskey Bent Saloon (located on Nashville's famed lower Broadway) and then taped back-to-back interviews for an additional four days at The Country Network's new offices in Gulch Crossing (1033 Demonbreun Street).

"It was a great reintroduction of the network to the NASHVILLE music industry and Country music fans," says Tim Eaton, President and CEO of The Country Network. "Everyone was very excited about our desire to provide a wider platform for Country music--not just mainstream, but Americana, Texas, Red Dirt and independent artists as well," he explains. "There's an endless supply of terrific music out there just waiting to be discovered, and we can't wait to bring it to you!"

With an office in Nashville, Tenn. and a 43,000 square foot recording/production facility with three sound studios located in Fort Worth, TX, TCN will fill a void in today's Country music broadcast marketplace, providing fans with quality Country music programming (including videos and original series) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week across multiple digital platforms. The rapidly expanding network is currently broadcasting in 34 markets with over 40 million DMA households across digital subchannel tiers, as well as maintaining a global reach via www.tcncountry.com. TCN's growth expansion strategy is to reach 100 million DMA households within the next three years.
