The Mid Atlantic Opera, a new professional opera company headquartered in Morristown, NJ, will host a benefit and sneak preview for its upcoming production of RIGOLETTO on Sunday, September 28 at 5 pm at McCloone's Boathouse, 9 Cherry Lane, West Orange, NJ.

Distinguished operatic vocalists from the upcoming production of RIGOLETTO will perform at the gala including soprano Jamilyn Manning-White, mezzo-soprano Melanie Campbell, and baritone Ivan Conrad. Operatic tenors Theodore Chletsos and James Ludlum, and soprano Karin Laine McMillen will also be featured soloists. Musical selections will include beloved arias and ensembles, along with an exciting mix of Broadway and audience favorites.

MidAtlantic Opera's fully-staged production of RIGOLETTO, conducted by Jason Tramm and stage directed by Eric Gibson, will take place on Sunday October 26, 2014 at 5 pm at the Ridge Performing Arts Center, 268 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ. The RIGOLETTO cast will feature baritone Jason Stearns (Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Savonlinna Festival, Los Angeles Opera) as Rigoletto, tenor Alok Kumar (Cincinnati Opera, Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre) as the Duke of Mantua, and the aforementioned Jamilyn Manning-White (NY Gotham Chamber Opera, Heartbeat Opera and Berkshire Theatre Festival) as Gilda. The MidAtlantic Opera Orchestra will accompany the cast, which will include additional principal roles and a men's ensemble.
