Zephyrium takes you on a journey through impossible spaces, reforging the masterworks of
the Western Art Music tradition with the infinite variety of sonic textures provided by
modern synthesis.

Voyage is Zephyrium's debut album, featuring modern electronic interpretations of some of the opera canon's most enduring arias, including Mozart's "Porgi, amor", Verdi's "Addio del passato", and Purcell's "Dido's Lament". Art Song is also represented in Dowland's "Flow My Tears", Caccini's "Amarilli, mia bella", as is sacred music by way of the "Pie Jesu" from Faure's Requiem.

Michelle Haché (Vocals) moved to Austin after completing her Graduate Diploma at the Juilliard
School in New York. An award-winning performer, Haché has appeared in many leading roles in both opera and music theatre in New York and around the country.

Derek Smootz (Electronics) is the producer of Chillout/Ambient/Ethereal project Longing for Orpheus, which has been featured regularly on Ultima Thule (an Australian Ambient music program, Syndicated nationally) and numerous genre podcasts.

Voyage also features guest performances by Austin favorites Lisa Alexander, Amelia Love, Meredith Ruduski.
