Tunde Olaniran Is Set To Release STRANGER Tomorrow

Tunde Olaniran is set to release his second full length album Stranger Friday, October 5 via his Magic Wheel imprint, and you can stream it in full now via NPR Music's First Listen. NPR's Stephen Thompson notes that Olaniran, "presides over a bighearted sound and style that revolve around spirited statements of affirmation, a sprawling artistic palette and the pursuit of boldness in every sense of the word... It all adds up to a finely calibrated mix of purpose and playfulness, executed to stylish perfection." Stream Stranger here!

Stranger follows the Flint, MI-based multi-hyphenate's-singer, songwriter, producer, rapper, choreographer, author & activist-praised 2015 debut Transgressor. While Transgressor was a mash-up of singing, rapping and a lot of high-speed vocal tricks, he also wanted songs that he could sing and perform stripped down.

In addition to his own work, Olaniran's collaborated with fellow Michigan artists Flint Eastwood ("Push") and Mona Haydar, whose 2017 viral track & video "Hijabi" was co-written, produced and video directed by him. Tunde also worked with indie folk singer-songwriter and musician Chris Bathgate, co-writing and performing on Bathgate's single "Hey Low."
