Tim Showalter's recent music has been called "enthralling" (Consequence of Sound), "an idiosyncratic artist rummaging through his memories to find the source of his art" (Pitchfork) - What those who saw him at Gild Hall in 2014 say is "this guy rocks, and he's the nicest guy you can imagine" - Take a look at the personal video of his handmade poster for our show that he posted on Instagram, it shows him exclaiming about how the lighting guy (our amazing George) did a fire dance for him just before the show, and that's one reason the Gild is a favorite venue.

The show is a solo performance, but don't expect him to be any less powerful. This is a seated intimate experience, something Strand has rarely done, it will let us focus on his songs even more than in his typical SRO shows like the 3 shows at Boot and Saddle that follow this show (in Philly). As in 2014, Ron is heading to Boot the night after Arden. We know people going to see him 4 nights in a row. Join us on Thursday, tickets are here!
