The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts announces that tickets for Pink Panther 50 - Tribute to Henry Mancini will go on sale December 12, 2014. The performance will take place at 8:00 p.m. January 16, 2015 in the Walt Disney Theater. Ticket prices start at $25.50 and range to $110.50 and may be purchased by calling the Dr. Phillips Center Box office at 844.513.2014 or by visiting the Box office at 445 Magnolia Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801 between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or online at drphillipscenter.org. Online and phone ticket purchases include handling fees.


The Dr. Phillips Center and JAZZ ROOTS will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the iconic film The Pink Panther with the music of the 20-time Grammy Award-winning composer Henry Mancini. PINK PANTHER 50 - Tribute to Henry Mancini features amazing music and film projections from Mancini's many hit films and TV shows, including Moon River, The Pink Panther, The Days of Wine and Roses, Charade, Breakfast at Tiffany's and many more. The concert will feature performances by Grammy nominee Monica Mancini - daughter of the late Henry Mancini; national sensation Tony DeSare; one of the jazz world's most praised vocalists, Nicole Henry; multi-Grammy Award winning composer, arranger, producer, musical director and saxophonist Tom Scott; Cyrille Aimee, French vocalist who has recently won the Sarah Vaughn International Vocal Competition and the Montreux Jazz Festival's International Vocal Competition; multi-Grammy nominee Shelly Berg, and the UM/Frost School of Music Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra.

Monica Mancini - The daughter of the late Henry Mancini is a double-Grammy nominated, acclaimed American recording artist and concert performer for Concord Records.

Nicole Henry - Has established herself as one of the jazz world's most praised vocalists. Ms. Henry possesses a potent combination of dynamic vocal abilities, impeccable phrasing, and powerful emotional resonance.

Cyrille Aimee - Winner of the Montreux Jazz Festival's International Vocal Competition, the Sarah Vaughan International Vocal Competition, and finalist in the Thelonious Monk Vocal Competition, French vocalist Cyrille Aimee is, in the words of Will Friedwald of the Wall Sttreet Journal - "One of the most promising jazz singers of her generation."

Tom Scott - Veteran composer, arranger, producer, musical director and saxophonist. He has earned 3 Grammy Awards and 14 Grammy nominations over four decades.

Shelly Berg - Dean of the UM Frost School of Music, a three time Grammy nominee, pianist, music director and composer.

The Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra - A highly selective graduate orchestra that is inspiring a whole new spectrum of artistic creation and exploration.
