Thin Black Line released their debut self-titled album through Upaya House on October 15, 2013 to waiting fans. A collaboration of Erik Quisling and Jeremy Penick, the multi-layered rebel country album features country hick-hop stars The Moonshine Bandits (Average Joe's Entertainment) on the hard-driving track "All the Crazy People".

Thin Black Line comprises the duo of Erik Quisling, an immensely talented keyboardist, songwriter, and best-selling author (Warner Books); and Jeremy Penick, a naturally gifted singer and songwriter and former lead vocalist/guitarist for Depwsa (Geffen Records). Thin Black Line has a musical eye for detail and an ear for smoking melodies.

Throughout the album, the outlaw country duo from Central California offers a sound that is raw and irreverent. Their dramatic and honest lyrics combine with their powerful "muddy underground" sound to set the stage for slamming tracks like "Gimme Hills" and "Cold Jealous Woman" and the smoother melodies on "Love is a Bridge" and "The Proposal" where powerful hooks and lyrical choruses offer a new edge to the rebel country genre.

The album is being distributed digitally. Single tracks or the entire album can be purchased on the band's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/thinblacklineband.
