Fresh off performing for a packed Nashville crowd to celebrate the release of her EP last week, Tenille Arts celebrated again when her self-titled debut entered the Canadian iTunes Country Chart at #1 and hit #10 on the overall Canadian iTunes Chart. By that evening, she was featured on the front page in the coveted "New & Noteworthy" section. Her "Wildfire and Whiskey" track currently sits at #12 on "Top Songs" in the Country genre.

"I am absolutely overwhelmed with all the love people have shown since the release of my debut EP," said Tenille. "It means so much to me because these songs are who I am, and it feels so great to know that people are relating and responding to them so well."

The Saskatchewan native and current Nashville resident co-wrote all six songs on the EP, which was produced by Adam Wheeler and Matt Rovey and released on 19th & Grand Records. Tenille was nominated for the Canadian Country Music Association's "Discovery Award" last month and has gained international attention by garnering over 750,000 views on her YouTube channel.

About Tenille Arts: The 22-year-old behind all of this recent attention is quietly confident country music lover Tenille Arts (her real name) who was raised in the small Canadian prairie town of Weyburn, Saskatchawan. She picked up the guitar and penned her first song at the age of 13 and has been performing across the US and Canada ever since. She made the move to Nashville one short year ago, and a songwriting session late last year turned her life upside down in a very positive way, when she was noticed by award-winning producer Matt Rovey (Craig Campbell, Dean Brody), songwriter/producer Adam Wheeler and Noble Vision Music Group head Hal Oven.

Videos on her channel have led to her being featured twice on Bob Kingsley's nationally syndicated Country Top 40 Countdown, and on the Woody and Jim morning show on 107.5 The River in Nashville. After stumbling onto some of her online videos, popular country website whiskeyriff.com recently labeled Tenille a "new country artist name you need to know immediately."
