Swedish Production & Songwriting Extraordinaire OLSSON Drops 2nd Single PARASOL

Swedish production and songwriting extraordinaire OLSSON is releasing "Parasol" today. The song is the second single from his forthcoming full-length studio albumTropical Cologne - which is due out April 26th via Universal Sweden. "Parasol" is an 80s inspired pop-track sundrenched in melodies that will transport you to a beach by the ocean with a drink in your hand. This summer anthem collects influences from such legends as Fleetwood Mac's 80s sounds as well asVampire Weekend's modern take on The Beach Boys.

OLSSON is no stranger to creating innovative pop music. He previously led the Swedish soulful soft pop band Fibes, Oh Fibes! who won a Swedish Grammy for "Best Pop Album" in 2010 for their LP 1987 and is a skilled songwriter and producer who has worked with the likes of Charli XCX, Seeb, Jacob Banks, Daniel Adams-Ray and Mapei. Not only did OLSSON co-write and produce Mapei's "Million Ways To Live," but she sang on "Hold On" - the lead single from his debut solo album MILLIONSthat was released in 2017.

"Parasol" follows the album's first single and opening track "Pink Rambler" which was released on February 22nd with news of the new LP. Tropical Cologne is OLSSON's second full-length since departing Fibes, Oh Fibes! in 2014, it was written and recorded in Berlin, Stockholm and Bordeaux and is due out April 26th via Universal Sweden.
