The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts presents five-time Grammy nominated artist and Songwriter Hall of Fame member Gordon Lightfoot, Wednesday, September 20 at 8 p.m. Tickets are now on sale to members of The Hanover Theatre and go on sale to the general public Tuesday, July 18 at 10 a.m.

Gordon Lightfoot In Concert: The Legend Lives On will feature Lightfoot's well known hits as well as some deep album cuts for the die-hard fanatics, all of which are woven together with some of Lightfoot's own behind the scenes stories and personal anecdotes about his historic 50-year career.

This year marks the 50th anniversary for the release of Lightfoot's iconic album, "The Way I Feel." The album contained well-known songs such as "Song for a Winter's Night" and "Canadian Railroad Trilogy." Other songs in Lightfoot's catalog include "Early Morning Rain," "If You Could Read My Mind," "Carefree Highway," "Sundown," "(That's What You Get) For Lovin Me," "The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald," "Ribbon Of Darkness," "Beautiful" and "Rainy Day People." Lightfoot's songs have been recorded and performed by other famous artists including Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Jr., Jerry Lee Lewis, Judy Collins, Johnny Mathis, Olivia Newton-John, Barbra Streisand, Peter Paul & Mary and more.
